You need a man

YOU NEED A MAN by Bishop Andy Ogbu

“The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool but while I am coming another steppeth down before me” John 5:7

No man is a finished product. Life is all about connection. For any man to be connected, he must first be connected. Man is created to serve each other for a complete dominion. Every man needs a woman (wife) to succeed so also the woman to the man, children and parents respectively.

According to the issue with the man in the Scripture, he was trapped for thirty-eight years. While some people were feasting, some were at the pool looking (seeking) for healing. Against the traditional procedures of jumping first into the river tide, Jesus came suddenly before the man. He watched others being healed for thirty-eight years unfortunately those who offered him initial help to the pool had all gone.

Do you know that there is a limit to what a man can tolerate? That is why can provide genuine love and blessing. Apart from the infirmity there was bitterness in him. He felt rejected and there was also loss of hope for healing. My advice to everyone is that we must avoid blaming people over our challenges in life.

No man can help any one of us outside God. Life must not be built around man but God. I was delivered from heartbreak in the ministry the day God spoke to me and said “Son, your problem is because you trust men so much and you believe in them, you are building your ministry around men” God now said, “Look unto me and I will send you help from heaven.

We must learn from Jesus, He knew what is in man and He never committed himself to a man. Listen, you are not permitted to live a life of hatred and suspicion but to relate according to the dictates of the scriptures.

God sent His son to intervene; the man at the pool was no longer to go through the tradition of jumping first into the pool. Do not lose hope and never get fed up. God is sending somebody to you. Thus is the man you need.

  1. O Lord, direct me to the place you have prepared for me.
  2. O Lord, order my steps to those you have positioned to help me and favour my course.
  3. O Lord, let every trap set against me be dismantled in the name of Jesus.
  4. O Lord, I beseech thee to take over my case.
